Hi, I am Vickie Hellmann, kindergarten teacher at Goshen Elementary. I was born and raised in Edwardsville. I went to N.O. Nelson, Columbus, Edwardsville Jr. High School and Edwardsville High School. I attended SIUE and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. Then went back to SIUE and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2005 I received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at SIUE.

I have been married to Mike Hellmann since 1984 and we have two beautiful daughters.

I was the in-school detention teacher at the Middle School in 2001.

I have been teaching kindergarten since 2002. I love it and can not imagine doing anything else in my life. Teaching is so rewarding.
